As of '07' my daughter Samantha has officially launched the Gypsy Ridge Rabbitry.  She is a member of the ARBA and is currently breeding and plans to eventually show (VBKR'S Gypsy Ridge) Sabastian & (Wetze's Sea Breeze) Sonny.  We have owned and cared for bunnies for years but more recently Sami chose to include the Lionhead because of the rarity of this breed. Lionhead History

Apparently there is much controversy as to how and even when the Lionhead came about.  The only thing I could find concrete is that they were introduced from Europe to the U.S. by a breeder in Minnesota.  This took place in 1998 or 1999.
