Pomapoo Characteristics: Pomapoos love social interaction, and can get along well with most people, even other pets (including cats). With this, a Pomapoo can become depressed if not socialized enough. Pomapoos are gifted with a fairly high amount of intelligence, and are relatively easy to train. As such they are fairly capable of learning many tricks and are easy to housebreak. A Pomapoo's temperament may vary between a mixture of a Poodle's more docile nature and a Pomeranian's slightly aggressive nature. Pomapoos may have any characteristic combination of it's parent breeds.

Grooming: A Pomapoo's coat will vary between the straight and long coat of a Pomeranian, or wavy and curly coat of a Poodle. As such, different types of coats will have different grooming requirements. Straight and coarse variety like a Pomeranian will need minimal brushing. Curly and vavy variety like a Poodle will need to be brushed more often to prevent tangles and matting. Both types may require hair cuts every 2-3 months. Like poodles, some Pomapoos will develop a large amount of in-the-ear hair. This must be trimmed and kept clean to prevent ear infections.

What will they look like?: So far our Pomapoos are taking more after our Pomeranian "Foxy" in type. We have had reports from no to very low shedding. We've had a variety of colors from very light fawn to black and weight ranging from 3 to 5 pounds at maturity.
